the chase is set and it better not suck

(Photo Credit: Todd Warshaw/Getty Images for NASCAR)Congratulations to the twelve men that made it into the 2009 Chase for the Sprint Cup. It’s an interesting little group. I can’t believe the entirety of Stewart-Haas Racing made it in especially since I didn’t think they’d win a single race this year. Brian Vickers proved it really isn’t over til it’s over and made the Chase for the first time. I’m so excited for the No. 83 team.

I think it’s going to be a very fun Chase, at least I hope it is. It better be crazy at New Hampshire next weekend.

Oh and super congrats to Denny Hamlin for finally winning at his hometrack! Even though the ESPN announcers were doing their best to try and jinx Denny it didn’t work. :)

Oh… I just love… LOVE the Super Bowyer pic! 3 of my favorites in one shot… LOVE!!! Though Clint’s pose is a little cheesy (only a little? HAH!), I STILL LOVE IT!! Sadly, none of them are in the Chase. :( Ah well, Congratulations to those that did. I’m pretty happy for Brian Vickers making it in. Good for him and Team Red Bull!

I seriously want Mark Martin to win this thing. Or Tony Stewart. Hell, there really isn’t anybody I’m not wanting to win it. They’re all extremely talented drivers and while I’ve had issues with a few of them over the years, I try not to hold on to ‘grudges’ against drivers for very long.

Even Jimmie getting it for a phenomenal 4th time in a row would be something incredible. Jimmie’s talent with Chad’s evil genius is amazing. Though they still remind me of Pinky & The Brain.

I’m just hoping 2010 is a little kinder on Clint, Jeff Burton & Matt K.

I think Tony was probably asking Logano to pay for the damage to his “backup”dirt car that he wrecked at Eldora. Just kidding. It is an odd picture tho.

I am a little sad Kyle didn’t make it to the chase. You have to admit whether you love him or loathe him…he does make things more interesting!!

Super Bowyer is too cool. But then again I wouldn’t mess with those two on either side of SB. They look badazz!

That’s funny, Mlynn! Probably a good thing Clint isn’t in his Cup firesuit, that would be a lot of yellow and black.

The Senator, Super Bowyer, Matt the Brat: The Yellow and Black Attack! hehe
