Daytona 500 winner Jamie McMurray stopped by San Francisco this week for a victory tour through the city, hosted by Infineon Raceway. He took a ride in a cable car and everything, and I could of been in said cable car with Jamie but I couldn’t make it. So yes, I’m as sad as you’d expect about missing out! They had ice cream sundaes too! Grrr!! :)

Too bad because it looks like Jamie had an awesome time in the city by the bay.

So disappointed I could’ve meet Jamie. I live in the heart on Downtown San Francisco pretty much in Union Square. But I was just too ill to get out and let Jamie know that this San Franciscan was really proud of him and loves NASCAR with all her heart.

And those motorized “cable cars” aren’t actually cable cars. Its a funky buses made up to trick tourist into thinking their riding an authentic cable car. I know because I work for MUNI the cities transit agency. I hope that Jamie and his wife got to ride the real thing on either Hyde/Powell, Hyde/Mason or California Street , which is my personal scary favorite.

Sorry for grammar/spelling errors – I’m up because I’m having a ulcerative colitis flare up and evidential the pain meds are kicking in and shutting off my built in spellchecker brain.
