Champion's Week logoIt’s the most wonderful time of year. No, I’m not talking about the holidays. I’m referring to NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion’s Week in Las Vegas!

I’m going again this year to all of the festivities and I couldn’t be more excited about flying to Vegas Wednesday morning. Just as I did last year, I’ll be tweeting everything so follow me, or check back here on Wednesday when I’ll have my Twitter feed added to this post.

The schedule!

Wednesday
Chasers for Charity event at Las Vegas Motor Speedway: All 12 of the drivers in the Sprint Cup Chase for the Championship will be on hand to participate in a “Family Feud-style game show.” I’m kinda sad it’s not a roast like last time, I missed that last year so I was hoping to get a do-over, but whatever. I’m sure it’ll be very fun.

Thursday
NASCAR NMPA Myers Brothers Awards Luncheon: This year the awards will take place at the Bellagio (ooh!) and fans will be in the audience for the very first time. The rest of the audience is comprised of award winners, industry people, sponsors and media.

Victory Lap: I missed seeing this live because I was on the monorail trying to go get lunch, but I’m not going to miss it again! The cars will tear down the Las Vegas Strip starting from Planet Hollywood (ending at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino) at 3:30pm.

NASCAR After The Lap: This is a free fan event taking place at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Just like last year, all 12 Chase drivers will answer questions from fans. New this year is the interactive Coca-Cola Fan experience and some fans will win NASCAR-themed prizes including a 2011 Ford Taurus SHO. The seating is free, on a first-come, first-served basis, so get there EARLY. It starts at 4:30pm.

The 2010 Stewie Awards: This year Tony Stewart and his co-host Matt Yocum will give out awards for the best moments of the 2010 NASCAR season live on Sirius/XM Satellite Radio (Channel 128) at 9:30PM ET from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. You can still vote on the different categories here. This is a plus, so that after After The Lap, I won’t have to go anywhere!

Friday
2010 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Awards Ceremony: The big event! I’m excited about pretty much everything included in this year’s ceremony. From Rascal Flatts and Colbie Caillat to the cast of “Viva ELVIS by Cirque du Soleil” performing I feel like I totally lucked out. SPEED is broadcasting everything live at 9PM ET.
