3,011 votes later we have the winners from Round Three! It wasn’t until I had this experience that I truly felt the power of Dale Earnhardt Jr’s fans, I’m pretty sure they’re part of the reason I saw record numbers of votes each day this past week. But unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to beat Ryan Newman. It was really, really, really close–the closest of Round Three; Ryan nipped Dale for the win by just 43 votes. The second closest result was Tony Stewart versus Kasey Kahne. Kasey lost, and now Tony will have to face his Stewart-Haas Racing teammate Ryan Newman in Round Four.
