I interviewed Helio Castroneves just before the autograph session that he and his Penske teammates were taking part of at the Macy’s men’s store in San Francisco the week of the Indy Grand Prix of Sonoma at Infineon Raceway.
I didn’t realize until just now that I missed a question in the questionnaire, which is crazy considering I’ve asked these questions a million times now. Anyway, it’s still a good interview. Helio laughs a lot and has a great personality. He’s just as you’ve seen him on TV, which is very refreshing.

What is your favorite word? Obviously
What is your least favorite word? Exclusivity
What turns you on? Waking up in the morning.
What turns you off? Waiting on line. Turns me off big time.
What sound or noise do you love? The sound of engine noise. I love it. I love it.
What sound or noise do you hate? That sound of the stomach when it’s making noise.
What is your favorite curse word? The f-bomb.
What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? I’d love to be an actor or something like that. It’s very hard but I respect it a lot, I don’t have a good memory.
What profession would you not like to do? (I missed this question! So he didn’t get to answer it)
If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates? Go in peace, I guess. *laughter*
