the chase class photo is here. i’ll take one in wallet-size, please.

I watched some of the Federated Auto Parts 400 at Richmond International Raceway from a bar known to be frequented by cops and firefighters in Oakland. I was there for something had nothing to do with racing OR cops/firefighters, it was a gathering of my boyfriend’s friends. Anyway, I couldn’t hear anything but I saw the red flag come out and some of the racing. The night was about Jeff Gordon fighting his way into the top-12 and ultimately in to The Chase, which meant that Kyle Busch had sit this Chase out.

So now that the field is set for The Chase we can move on from speculation about who will make it in to who will win the whole thing. We can now be subjected to the fifty million columns & stories about how/if/when/maybe Jimmie Johnson can win a 6th Championship. Ha! Or fifty stories about any or all of the following: Will Tony Stewart go on another winning streak like last year? Can Denny Hamlin win more races? Will Dale Earnhardt Jr. win again? Does Jeff Gordon have it in him to win a 5th Championship? Can Kasey Kahne continue to be THAT adorable? Can Batman save Gotham from the Joker??

I guess only time will tell. :)
