denny hamlin wins; sylvania wants to send you to las vegas

I watched the start of the SYLVANIA 300 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway at my boyfriend’s apartment. He doesn’t have cable (I know, insane!) but I do. Because I had my handy dandy iPhone, the Watch ESPN app I’d downloaded the day before and Apple TV, I was able to watch NASCAR Countdown and the first handful of laps on my boyfriend’s television. Technology is WONDERFUL and I highly recommend it.

Denny Hamlin won the race as he said he would (even though he tried to walk that back and lower expectations before the race started) and Jimmie Johnson is leading in the points.

So here’s some fun news to share: SYLVANIA has a new contest to continue the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the SYLVANIA 300! And it involves sending YOU to Las Vegas for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Awards ceremony! Niiice. :)

Starting on race day, Sunday, September 23 – and over the next 10 days – NASCAR enthusiasts can go to the OSRAM SYLVANIA Facebook page and answer daily trivia questions for a chance to win a VIP trip (for two) to attend the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Awards in Las Vegas this November (courtesy of the New Hampshire Motor Speedway). The two lucky guests will also get the chance to attend the NASCAR NMPA Myers Brothers Luncheon and NASCAR After the Lap along with complimentary rooms at the Wynn Las Vegas and Encore hotel! It’s the ultimate off-track experience for NASCAR fans. Daily winners will be also be selected to receive a SYLVANIA 300 Prize Pack which includes SYLVANIA lighting products as well as SYLVANIA 300 memorabilia.
