Friday morning in Las Vegas started with me arriving at the track just in time to interview J.J. Yeley at his hauler. But I found out that he had been asked to drive the No. 27 car for Baker Curb Racing in the Nationwide Series race. So he was participating in their practice session and wouldn’t be available till later in the day (We did end up connecting later in the day and I got some great answers from him).

Who is the hottest, cutest, most-handsome driver in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series? I know who I think is the hottest, most-adorable driver in the series but if I just tell you what I think it’s boring and the fun only lasts for a few hours, or a day, tops. So instead I thought it would be way more fun if everyone voted!
I’ve randomly seeded 38 drivers into a single-elimination tournament. There will be six rounds of action before we crown a winner and each round will last at least one week.
The second round will go on for two weeks because there are so many match-ups I want to make sure there’s enough time to get as many votes in as possible. You can vote as many times as you want and I strongly encourage you to do so every day. And as the rounds wind down be on the lookout for the opportunity to win a prize!

Without further adieu here are the match-ups for Round One!
|Kyle Busch||Jeff Burton|
|Brian Vickers||Juan Pablo Montoya|
|David Reutimann||Tony Stewart|
|David Ragan||Casey Mears|
|Paul Menard||Jimmie Johnson|
|Kevin Conway||Regan Smith|

Raybestos Rookie of the Year award-winner Kevin Conway started the 2010 season in the Sprint Cup Series driving for Front Row Motorsports but ended it with Robby Gordon Motorsports. I met Kevin in Las Vegas after the NMPA Myers Bros. Awards Luncheon where he officially received his Rookie of the Year award.
This is the second of my “Inside the Actor’s Studio” interviews that I did during Champion’s Week. There are many more to come so stay tuned.
What is your favorite word? This year I would have to say it’s been “Plethora” and I really don’t know why, it’s just been used a lot.
What is your least favorite word? Probably “hmm,” I hate it when a girl is like “hmm, hmm.”
What turns you on? Being competitive and winning races.
What turns you off? Negativity
What sound or noise do you love? Race cars
What sound or noise do you hate? Silence
What is your favorite curse word? The F-word can be used in so many different ways, so it’s probably the best 4-letter word because it’s used in many different ways.
What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? If I couldn’t be a race car driver I’d probably like to be a fighter pilot.
What profession would you not like to do? Anything in a cubicle or a desk job.
If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates? Welcome, welcome home.
