I’m not a big NHRA fan and I don’t now everything there is to know about it, but I knew the Kalitta name what it meant to the sport of drag racing.
It was incredibly shocking and sad to hear that Scott Kalitta died today at the end of a Funny car race in Englishtown, New Jersey. He was only 46-years-old and he was one of the best drag racers around.
My heart goes out to his family, friends and fans.
