I have news, fabulous news, of course.

I’m going to give you a little piece of advice that will prove to be invaluable. Never, ever underestimate the power of a tweet! Yes, a message you post on Twitter could change things for you in very positive ways. This isn’t about a get rich quick scheme. It’s just about possibilities and how you just never know.

My favorite thing to say is “If you don’t ask, you don’t get.” So here’s the deal, I’ve gone to the BlogWorld & New Media Expo for the past two years. I really, really, really wanted to go this year because they joined forces with another convention and it’s bigger than ever. Plus, Blogs With Balls is holding their second panel at Blog World and they’re bringing in all kinds of sports bloggers and sports media people. It’s going to be good.

But, because Blog World raised it’s prices there wasn’t any way I was going to be able to make it out, which really hurt my heart. Blog World is the only place that’s all about blogging and it’s the one place I can talk about blogging without having to first explain what a blog is and how it works. I love it. Also, I always meet great people and learn stuff. So it’s worthwhile on all fronts.

Anywho… this past Monday I wrote a tweet that said “if someone would like to sponsor me to attend Blogs With Balls in Vegas, I’d be the happiest girl in the world :)”

And now I’m going to be attending Blogs With Balls and Blog World, and get this, I’ll be speaking on a panel about NASCAR and social media. What???

I won’t go into all the details about how it all went down, but needless to say I’m super grateful for the people that made it possible. This is such a great opportunity and I’m so excited to get to talk about NASCAR. It’s seriously one of my favorite things to do, whether or not people want to hear it. 🙂

TwitterSo that’s where I’ll be next week. This weekend I’m in Los Angeles for the Pepsi 500 at Auto Club Speedway. Be sure to follow me on Twitter to find out what I’m up to all weekend long.
