Five-time Sprint Cup Series Champion Jimmie Johnson was my final interview at this year’s Champion’s Week in Las Vegas. He’s also the only driver (so far) that’s actually met James Lipton who hosts Inside the Actor’s Studio on Bravo and asks these very same questions of his guests. So in a Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon sort of way I’m now connected to James Lipton. 🙂

What is your favorite word? My daughter has been repeating the word “No” like crazy, so it’s not my favorite word but it’s the word that first came to mind.

What is your least favorite word? That would be “No” then.

What turns you on? Right now I’m in vacation mode so I’m thinking warm climate and sandy beach.

What turns you off? Mean people.

What sound or noise do you love? Racecars

What sound or noise do you hate? Sirens

What is your favorite curse word? Well, I like a lot of them. Shit. It just seems to flow easier than the other ones. *laughter*

What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? When I was a kid I wanted to be a fireman. I grew up in southern California and it was always fire season, fire something, so if I didn’t know of racing I think I would have pursued being a fireman.

What profession would you not like to do? Those guys that drive around and pump all the motorhomes and those Port-A-Potties. The sewage deal, that is not a good job.

If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates? Come on in. *laughter*
